Project; New Entrance Pavilion
Project Overview:
The project consisted of the addition of a new entrance pavilion to an existing sixty-one unit, four-story beachfront condominium building located in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. This new pavilion captures the essence of the Kiawah waterfront -property with the integration of four water features on a raised masonry deck. The varied water features consist of two waterfall structures and two water basins. It provides ADA access and a common seating area for guest and occupants. The largely concrete and stucco structure appears as though it were carved out of sand that integrates and is encompassed by the adjacent beach.
