PROJECT OVERVIEW
The new construction of a "bunkhouse" building was done in the traditional vernacular of the adjacent structures. This dwelling unit has approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of conditioned space consisting of two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a workout room, a bar/ lounge room. There is a large open exterior deck located on the marsh side of the new building. This new building uses the same materials and construction methodology of the existing adjacent structures, however the angle of the building is rotated ninety degrees from the existing buildings. The juxtaposition of the new building creates an interesting dynamic and dual axis "bookend" to the composition of the stand-alone buildings.
